Angela Gowdy BEM - Home-Start UK Volunteer Of The Year
There wasn't a dry eye in the room! Angela Gowdy BEM, our volunteer won the Home-Start UK Home Visiting Volunteer Award and the overall Volunteer Award.
Angela is an incredible 92 years young, has been with us for 27 years and is still going strong.

Angela is a much loved and valued volunteer with Home-Start Garioch. She came to Home-Start in 1996 when she retired from Paeditric nursing.
Angela has worn many hats over the years at Home-Start Garioch. She has been Chair and Vice Chair of our Board of Trustess. Currently she is our Volunteer Representative on the Board and sits on the Strategic Planning group.
Her favourite role is as a home visiting volunteer.
A much deserved recognition for the valuable work she does.
